A Ready Made portfolio is a professionally managed investment portfolio that you can open and invest in directly through the Sidekick app. Each portfolio holds a diversified mix of stocks, bonds, commodities and (for some portfolios) cash - spread across global markets. You choose the risk level that suits you; Sidekick handles the investment management.
There are five portfolios, from Careful (risk level 2 of 7) to Adventurous (risk level 6 of 7). Careful portfolios hold more bonds and cash for stability; Adventurous portfolios hold more stocks for higher growth potential. When you sign up, a short questionnaire helps you understand your risk band.
Yes. All investments carry risk. The value of your portfolio can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invest. Even the most conservative Careful portfolio can fall in value in the short term. This is why Ready Made portfolios are typically suited to investors with a time horizon of 5 or more years, who can ride out periods of market volatility.

Yes. You can switch between portfolios, top up, or withdraw at any time. There are no lock-in periods. When you withdraw, your investments are sold and the proceeds are paid to your Sidekick Wallet. Withdrawal timing depends on market settlement, typically 3-5 business days.
