Your money, read closely
Every week, AI Insights looks across your whole Sidekick portfolio and tells you what's actually worth knowing — in plain language, like a quick call from someone who knows your position.
The idle cash. The shift you'd have missed. The opportunity drifting past.

The most useful things about your money are easy to miss
Cash sitting idle in your wallet. A change in your portfolio worth a second look. The kinds of things you'd spot yourself — if you had the time to dig. Nothing's wrong, exactly. It's just not visible from the home screen.

A weekly briefing that does the digging for you
AI Insights isn't a rehash of your home screen. It's a change-and-anomaly digest: one headline insight — the single most non-obvious thing about your week — and a few supporting notes.
- Quiet week? It says so honestly, and points to something forward-looking instead of padding the page.
- Every insight carries a concrete number and a reason it matters — never vague, never drama.

What AI Insights looks for
It watches for the patterns that only show up when you compare this week to the last several.
What you did
Where your deposits went this week, and the pots or strategies that received them.
Your busiest weeks
When this week beats every week in the last eight — the kind of pattern you only catch by comparing.
How your money sits
When a large share of your portfolio rests on just one or two holdings.
Cash that could work harder
Money sitting at a lower rate than an account you already hold — with the cost in pounds per year.
Opportunities waiting
A pot you set up but never funded, or a bonus rate sitting ready and unused.
Goals and milestones
A goal closing in on completion, or a Sidekick anniversary worth marking.
See it in action
Two examples of the kind of thing AI Insights surfaces. Real briefings use your own numbers.
“One thing worth a look: your Wallet”
For example: you're holding £500 in your Sidekick Wallet at 1% AER, while the rest of your savings sit in Easy Access at 4.17%. Moving it across would earn roughly £16 more a year — small, but it's free money sitting still.

“How your holdings are doing”
Or this: your two largest positions together make up 89% of your investments — so most of your portfolio's performance depends on just those two. A simple observation you'd rarely sit down and work out yourself.

Built to be trusted
AI Insights is designed to be honest by construction — not just well-intentioned.
Grounded in your real data
A deterministic engine decides what’s true from your own account. The language model only phrases it — it can’t invent figures, totals or percentages.
Information, not advice
No buy, sell or rebalance recommendations. No return predictions. Forward-looking notes are framed as observations, never forecasts.
Checked before you see it
Every briefing is validated before it reaches you. If it can’t be produced reliably, we don’t show it rather than risk showing something wrong.
Insights that actually know your money
Modern tools. Human expertise. More control.

Quick answers to your top questions
No. AI Insights is information, not financial advice. It points out things worth knowing about your own money — it never tells you to buy, sell, or move anything, and it doesn’t predict returns. When investing, your capital is at risk.
Your briefing refreshes every Monday morning. If something meaningful changes mid-week — like a new deposit landing — your next visit updates automatically rather than waiting for the following week.
Two parts work together. A deterministic engine checks your data against a fixed set of patterns to decide what’s genuinely worth surfacing — the facts and the figures. A language model then puts that into plain, readable language. The AI phrases the insight; it doesn’t invent the numbers.
Every figure in your briefing comes from your own account data. The system can only use numbers it’s been given — it can’t make up percentages or totals. Each briefing is checked before you see it, and if it can’t be produced reliably, we don’t show it rather than risk showing something wrong.
Some weeks genuinely don’t have a story, and we say so. Rather than padding the briefing, a quiet week is acknowledged directly and points to something forward-looking instead — like a pot you’ve set up but not yet funded.
AI Insights only looks at the Sidekick account data we already hold to build your briefing. To understand how we use your data, read our Privacy Policy.
