Sidekick Investment Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sidekick’s Investment Rewards Programme (the “Programme”). By participating in this Programme, you’re agreeing to the following terms. We’ve kept it simple, so take a look.

1. What’s this programme about?

We want to help you get started with investing! If you haven’t funded your investment account, we’re offering you a £50 reward to give you a boost.

2. Who can join?

To qualify for this reward, you need to: Open and fund a new Sidekick investment account during the offer period. Sidekick’s investment products have minimum initial investments of £1,000 ( the “Minimum Account Balance”) and you must meet those product-specific requirements.

3. How it works

• To receive your reward, all you need to do is open and fund an investment account and hold the assets in the account for 31 calendar days (the “Minimum Holding Period”).
• Funding an investment account means choosing one of our eligible investments we have available at the time of the promotional period. You must meet the requirements of these eligible investment assets to qualify for investment.
• Eligible investment assets are those which can be held in either a general investment account or an ISA account and include: Global Stocks, Global Bonds, Money Market Funds, and Custom Indexing (collectively referred to as “Eligible Investment Assets”)
• For the avoidance of doubt, deposits into any Savings or Private Market Investments offered by Sidekick do not qualify under these Programme conditions as an Eligible Investment Asset.
• You will not receive a reward if your account is closed during the Programme period set out in Section 6.
• You will not receive a reward if you withdraw your investment during the Programme period set out in Section 6.

4. Investment eligibility

In order to qualify for Sidekick’s investment account, you must meet the below criteria:

• They have sufficient legal capacity to enter into an agreement
• They are a UK resident (meaning, for these purposes, that their primary place of residence is in the UK and they are a UK tax payer); and
• They are at least 18 years of age

5. The rewards

• You will get a reward deposited straight into your Sidekick wallet after the Minimum Holding Period has lapsed, so long as all other program conditions have been met.
• Assuming the Programme conditions have been met, you will receive £50 in your Sidekick wallet

6. Programme duration

• We might tweak, pause, or end the program at any time. If we do, we’ll let you know through our usual channels.
• This referral program expires on the 28th February at 23:59pm (GMT), though is subject to change at our discretion.
• The Minimum Holding Period will be deemed lapsed as of 31st March 2025 at 23:59pm (GMT). 
• Referral rewards will be paid within 5 business days after the Minimum Holding Period has lapsed, or at the latest will be paid by 8th April 2025. 

7. Programme conditions

• Your account needs to stay active and meet the minimum balance requirement for the full Minimum Holding Period.
• The investment monies must be invested in Eligible Investment Assets, as highlighted in section 3, and maintain a minimum account balance, more on that below.
• If your account is closed or the balance drops below the £1,000 minimum during that time due to withdrawals, no reward will be issued
• For the avoidance of doubt, any reductions on the Minimum Account Balance due to the underlying performance of the asset will not be considered a breach of the Minimum Account Balance condition. Sidekick will only consider withdrawal-based reductions in its Minimum Account Balance considerations.
• Rewards are paid out only after the 30 calendar-day holding period once Sidekick has confirmed the conditions of all participants have been met.

8. Play fair

• You can only receive this reward once.
• We have the right to refuse or reverse any reward payment if we suspect any fraud or breach of these terms.

9. Taxes

Rewards might be taxable. It’s up to you to handle any tax responsibilities, so check with a tax professional if needed.

10. Changes to the programme

• We can change, pause, or stop the program at any time without prior notice.
• If we end the program, any pending rewards will still be paid out as long as all conditions are met.

11. Limitations

• We’re not responsible for technical issues or errors that might affect your participation.
• If you break the rules, we can remove you from the Programme.

12. Legal stuff

• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
• By taking part in the Referral Program, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agree to these terms.
